Mops on Myrtle was started by Jo Abbott as a mobile hairdressing business in July 2004.
Visiting her client's homes has proven an extremely popular exercise, so much so that Jo has decided to combine the mobile service with a home based salon.
Jo's philosophy has always been that customer service is paramount and being a busy Mum of three young children, she knows how difficult it can be simply getting to the salon for an appointment, let alone keeping the children entertained for up to 3 hours.
Taking all this into consideration, Mops on Myrtle will continue to provide a mobile service for people who need it (e.g. disabled, parents with newborns or elderly etc) whilst at the same time promoting an "In House" service in the salon.
Mops on Myrtle Salon provides a family friendly environment, with toys & an outdoor patio & play area for toddlers- all within clear sight of Mum or Dad plus T.V & D.V.D's for older children - or parents!
We combine quality hairdressing with a warm & inviting environment for all the family to have a pleasant hairdressing experience.
